If you have been in the queue and think you have your code in correctly. Please double check that you do indeed have the correct SITE ID # in your code. A frequent error that I see - when entering your blog url there is a double http:// or you do not include one. There only needs to be one http:// in there.

You don't have to be old skool or even obsessed to join, I do ask that your blog be updatedat least once a month . Dead links on a ring are both annoying and a bummer. You must post the code to your blog before it is activated in the ring. This means the ring code must be on the same page as your blog, not a links page.
