Hello Knittyheads.

I've received a few emails of late regarding broken links/no ring code/faulty code and the like on several member pages. I took a look and a few of you have been moved to the Queue. Various reasons listed below:

No Code - The page does not have the ring code on it.

Code located on a different page than your blog - The code needs to be on the same page as your blog, the purpose of a ring is to connect blogs, not link pages. People wanting to surf the ring should not have to "hunt" as it was put, for the "next" or ">>" link.

Incorrect Code - Your member ID and the ID number you have in your code do not match. Please verify your member number, you can check it by going List Ring Members.

Or, you do not have the links which allow users to go to the previous blog in the ring or the next blog in the ring. If you would like to add the "join" link or the "random" link you are welcome to, but the prev/next and list do need to be included.

Please Note: Using the Knittyheads ring button is not mandatory. If you choose not to use it please replace the button code this is the most common complaint I get. Again it makes it difficult to surf the ring when users have to "hunt" for the ring links.

with

<center><b><a href="http://knittyheads.zibibboisgood.com/">Knittyheads</a>

This way a text link that looks like Knittyheads will show up and not a missing image icon.

I will check back on the sites moved to the queue in a week. If you feel I have moved you to the queue and all is correct and it was I who made the error please! leave a comment or email me, I've just scanned 80 blogs and am apt to mess up somewhere.

Buon Divertenti
